Video Poker is a popular game that can be bet on in casinos all over the world, or in your house on your personal computer, through a net connection. The game rules are absolutely straightforward and consist of the player trying to achieve the greatest mixture of cards as you can in order to win cash. In this respect it is much the same as a regular game of poker, minus the involvement with other players. The round is now finished, with the Video Poker machine scanning the hand to see if it is the same as any of the winning hands shown on the payout schedule.

Typically, the minimum succeeding hand on an Electronic Poker machine is a pair of jacks with the prize money growing for each better hand. A list of common winning hands begins with jacks or better, and moves on to two pairs, three of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, 4 of a kinds, straight flushes and finally royal flushes. It goes without saying that the payment schedule can range from machine to machine, so that experienced bettors are able to select the most profitable game every time.

As soon as the initial round has completed, the player can either choose to stay on in an attempt to maximize their earnings, or they can press the ‘collect’ button to retrieve any credits that they may have won. Additionally, some versions of the game give the bettor an opportunity to increase their profits, in which case another hand is played. There are also differences among individual games, with some virtual decks including wild cards and other varying aspects to increase playability.
